Everything bidders need in one place.
These resources explain how ESBJ auctions work from start to finish: browsing, bidding, winning, payment, pickup, select shipping questions, item condition, and support. Public users participate as buyers and bidders; auction creation and listing management are handled by the ESBJ team.
1. Start Here
ESBJ’s auction platform was built so buyers can browse estate finds, bid online, win items, and pick up locally through the official Estate Sales by Jesod auction site.
This page is your quick guide to the most important bidder resources. Whether you are new to online estate auctions or already familiar with bidding, these pages help you understand what to expect before, during, and after an auction.
Official ESBJ platform: This is not an open public marketplace. Outside sellers do not create public listings here. ESBJ creates, organizes, photographs, lists, and manages the auctions so buyers know they are bidding through the official Estate Sales by Jesod auction platform.

Read Privacy Policy3. How Bidding Works
Bidding with ESBJ is simple: create an account, review the auction details, place your bid, watch your email, and follow winner instructions if you win.
Create or Sign In
Create a free bidder account or sign in before placing bids. Use an email address you check regularly.
Review Photos and Descriptions
Estate items are often pre-owned, vintage, used, unique, or one-of-a-kind. Review all photos, descriptions, measurements, condition notes, and auction terms before bidding.
Check Pickup Requirements
Confirm the general pickup area, pickup date, pickup window, loading responsibility, and whether you can collect the item locally.
Place Your Bid
Bid only if you are ready to pay and follow the pickup or approved shipping requirements. Winning bids are purchase commitments.
Watch for Winner Instructions
If you win, review your invoice, payment instructions, pickup instructions, and any special notes from ESBJ.
Before you bid: review the lot, total cost, buyer’s premium, taxes, pickup requirements, and any shipping limitations. If you have a question, contact ESBJ before bidding.
4. Pickup and Address Privacy
ESBJ auctions are local-pickup focused, and exact pickup addresses are protected for privacy and security.
Many auctions are connected to private homes, estates, storage locations, or other locations that should not be publicly shared with everyone. For that reason, public listings may show only a general pickup area. The exact address and detailed instructions are provided to winning bidders after the auction closes.
Listings may show a general pickup area, such as New Hampshire, Massachusetts, or a nearby New England region.
Full pickup details are shared only with winning bidders through ESBJ communications.
Plan ahead with enough vehicle space, packing materials, tools, straps, blankets, and moving help.
Buyers are responsible for moving, carrying, packing, loading, and transporting their purchases.
Pickup times keep the process organized and safe for all winning bidders.

5. Shipping Notes
Local pickup is the standard ESBJ process. Shipping should never be assumed.
Shipping may be available only on select items and only when confirmed by ESBJ before bidding. Many estate items are too large, fragile, heavy, irregular, valuable, restricted, or difficult to pack safely.
Important: If you cannot pick up locally, contact ESBJ before bidding. If shipping is not confirmed for that specific lot and you win, you are still responsible for payment and pickup arrangements.
Small items may be considered case by case, but shipping is not guaranteed.
Send ESBJ the auction name, lot number, item title, and your shipping question before placing a bid.
Shipping, packing, handling, carrier fees, insurance, and third-party costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
When ESBJ cannot ship, buyers may need to authorize a local pickup person or arrange a third-party shipper.
